Stupid Block Animations is a client-side Fabric mod that adds smooth placement and breaking animations to Minecraft blocks. When placing or mining blocks, they slightly tilt and wobble, giving interactions with the world a more dynamic and satisfying feel The mod is fully client-side and compatible with Sodium!!
Features
Block Placement Animations
When placing a block, it briefly tilts and settles into place.
The animation depends on the face of the block you interact with, so blocks will rotate differently when placed:
- on the ground
- on walls
- under ceilings
This makes building feel more natural and visually satisfying.
Block Breaking Animations
When you start mining a block, it begins to wobble slightly, providing visual feedback during breaking
The animation includes several stages:
- small delay before the motion begins
- oscillating movement while the block is being mined
- short hold at the maximum tilt
- smooth return to the original position
Support for Multi-Block Structures
The mod properly handles blocks that consist of multiple parts
Supported blocks include:
- Beds
- Doors
- Banners
All connected parts animate synchronously, ensuring natural-looking motion
