Chat Overhaul modernizes Minecraft's chat system with configurable chat formatting and color, 100+ vanilla looking emojis, a mention system, user-defined aliases, and a tab system to quickly swap between general, team, and whisper chats, completly client-side !
Features
Chat Tabs
Using whispers or teammsg commands will automatically send you to the corresponding tab.
Pressing tab will also allow to quickly swap between tabs.
Configurable message formats
You can customize chat messages format to your hearts content ! Using Mod Menu on Fabric, or NeoForge default mod menu, you can configure message formats and colors per channel, with timestamps and more !
Mentions
@mentions are colored in chat, and play a sound if someone is mentionning you. (Tip : by clicking on mentions, you can quickly whisper to someone !)
Emojis !
:name: codes are substituted with emojis. For now, the mod is adding around 100 emojis, with plans for more in the future !

- And an emoji picker !
Aliases
You can also add text remplacements in the mod config.
