Islands Overworld is a worldgen datapack that changes the generation of the vanilla world to flying islands. Although nothing else changes, the adventure becomes significantly more difficult due to the void domination.

If you prefer to add a new dimension, instead of replacing the overworld, look at Islands Overworld Dimension.

Installation

  • Play Minecraft 1.20 or more recent.
  • Make sure to download the exact corresponding datapacks's version (worldgen can mess up real quick)
  • Create a new world and drag the datapack upon worldā€™s creation.
  • Make sure the spawn is correct.

Islands intensities (Patreon feature)

You can chose islands intensity between 5 values: tiny, small, medium, large and massive. A different datapack can be downloaded for each intensity.
