Very simple mod: Plays a configurable sound when:

  • Minecraft loads and reaches the Main Menu
  • The world loads
  • Minecraft is done reloading resources

Itā€™s called ā€œDingā€ because thatā€™s the sound that plays when you pick up an XP orb.
