Realistic Mechanics
Overview
Have you ever wondered why a heavy iron anvil floats on water just like a wooden block? Or why an uncovered campfire stays perfectly lit during a massive thunderstorm? Realistic Mechanics is a Vanilla+ mod designed to fix these logical gaps and breathe life into your world.
By introducing immersive, physics-based, and environmental interactions, this mod transforms the way you experience survival Minecraft. Every new feature has been carefully crafted to feel like it should have always been in the base game, offering intuitive solutions and dynamic reactions to the world around you. š
Physics and Environment
The world is no longer static. Elements now interact with each other in logical and visually satisfying ways.
Heavy Items Sink
Say goodbye to floating ores and armors. Dense blocks, heavy tools, and metallic items will now sink straight to the bottom of water and lava lakes. ā

Dynamic Weather Reactions
You will need to build roofs for your outdoor campsites. When it starts raining, exposed campfires and candles will naturally sizzle and extinguish. š§ļø

Cushioning Falls Parkour just got a little more strategic. Landing on soft materials like any type of leaves or wool blocks will drastically cushion your fall, reducing the damage you take. š

Extinguishing Snowballs
Snowballs are finally useful in an emergency. Throw them at fire blocks, lit campfires, or burning entities (including your friends and pets) to instantly put out the flames! āļø

Farming and Utility
Taking care of your crops and managing your resources is now more interactive and rewarding.
Fertile Rain Storms bring life. Crops that are exposed to the open sky have a significantly higher chance of experiencing growth spurts during rain or thunderstorms. āļø

Splash Bottle Irrigation
Need to water your crops quickly? Throwing a splash water bottle will instantly hydrate a large radius of farmland and provide a slight growth boost to the plants hit by the water. š¦

Natural Sponge Drying
You no longer need to waste furnace fuel to dry your sponges. Simply place a wet sponge directly next to a heat source like a lit campfire, fire, or lava, and it will slowly dry out over time. š„

Cauldron Dye Washing
Made a mistake while decorating? Right-click a water-filled cauldron while holding dyed wool, carpets, or beds to wash the dye completely off, returning the items to their pure white state. š§½

Configuration and Customization
We know that every player and server has different needs. That is why Realistic Mechanics is fully modular.
Don't like a specific feature? You can easily toggle absolutely every single mechanic on or off using the built-in configuration menu. You have total control over your Vanilla+ experience! āļø

Note: For the configuration menu to work in-game, please ensure you have Mod Menu and Cloth Config API installed alongside this mod.
